Circa 1860.
Made of walnut, with beautiful figured burr walnut to the fold-over serpentine shaped top.

The top then folds-open to double in size, revealing the original green baize top, with Greek key frieze.
Supported by a bulbous turned and carved central column and carved splayed legs, with acanthus and scroll carved feet, on castors.

Lovely figuring and rich warm, nutty colour and patina, to the wood.
The overall condition is very good, with expected minor signs of age and use, very minimal. The baize shows signs of age and use, again quite minor. Re-placement brass castors.

Very solid sturdy and strong.
Bees-waxed and polished.
