This charming antique Lines Sportiboy Rocking Horse is in original condition so could be fully restored or used as a decorative piece either in the home or shop display.

The Lines family made rocking horses for almost a century. They are very important makers who produced first class rocking horses and many novel designs. George and Joseph Lines worked together from about 1876 to develop their company G & J Lines to be one of the largest toy makers in Britain. The family business split and reformed over the years and traded with the names G & J Lines, G & J Lines Ltd, Lines Brothers Ltd, Triangtois and Tri-ang.

The smaller horses 'Sportiboy' typically did not have carved teeth.

The horse could be removed from the stand, making it a fabulous shop window display piece or equally a charming home decoration item.

A tail and mane can be supplied at no extra cost, I have not attached them as I like its original rustic look.
