: A Pair of treen miniature cauldrons. The pair have been turned from solid rosewood and then have had little rosewood legs added and have been fitted with very tightly fitting solid rosewood lids, and finally a handle of brass, decoration has been kept to the minimum with simple lines turned in them. The pair are in excellent condition with a good colour rosewood. The great mystery is what they were for, treen items tend to have a use, even novelty ones, these were obviously made to contain something, but i am at a loss to explain what.
