Victorian Pierced Brass Photo Frame C1880

Description

This attractive ANTIQUE PIERCED BRASS PHOTO FRAME, on easel support, dates from circa 1880.

It retains its original bevelled glass.

The FRAME measures approximately 9.75 inches (24.75 cm) in height and 7.5 inches (19 cm) in width.

The aperture holds a postcard-sized picture.

The condition and quality is good. It is original throughout and the folding pins which hold the back of the frame work securely.

We have left the BRASS in its original state with, what we consider, a pleasing patina but it could be cleaned to a brighter finish, if required.

There are no splits, breaks or repairs.
