Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this fine quality pair of Chinese tusk vases on hardwood stands , these finely pierced and carved ivory tusk sections depict deep carved dragons coiled around the entire body amidst clouds or flames , the background being finely pierced in a star cut floral effect, the pair are stood upon and indeed fixed to their original hardwood bases.

The condition is stunning throughout , we have inspected in great detail and cannot find any damage to the carving or background piercing , with the aid of a glass we can detect a minor hairline at the base of one tusk , difficult to spot but please see last photo, pointed out for accuracy but being really picky , they are great !!!
