William IV Antique Rosewood Decorative Pole Screen

This beautiful antique decorative pole screen dates from the William IV period, circa 1835, and is made from rosewood. The base of the pole is beautifully turned and has scrolled feet. The screen displays an early decorative tapestry. The rosewood is a rich dark medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Approx. dimensions are:

Height: 162cm / 64"

Width: 41cm / 16"

Diameter of base: 32cm / 12½"
