19th Century Dutch Satinwood Jardinere. C. 1850

19th century
Description

Good 19th century Dutch satinwood and inlaid jardinere. Square design with canted corners and square tapering legs. Veneered in satinwood with rosewood and walnut banding and inlaid on two sides with a marquetry shell.

Retains its original metal liner and original brass handles.

Good condition for age and a lovely rich colour and patination. These are not common in satinwood.

SIZE; 11" square by 20" high
