Amazing Antique Scales by Day & Millward.

This is a superb, very original example of an English antique weighing scale which has numerous, decorative details.

Dating from the mid 19th century, this set of antique weighing scales are made in steel and still retain the original japanned and gilt finish.

The scales stand on a tripod base with two brass weighing dishes.

Made and marked by Day & Millward, Birmingham and in fully working, original condition.

A very decorative set of antique scales, nice and large, a great kitchen item.

Now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms.

Height: 68cm (26.77")

Width: 41cm (16.14")

Additional Information: The beam is 41cm wide. Each brass dish is 20cm wide.
