Description

A real showy stunner of a Snuff Mull, about as good as they get made from a single Ram's horn and decorated with Scottish Provincial silver mounts (which are unmarked, as they never are) and a repousse decorated hinged lid.

The lid has a cartouche with an engraving which is hard to make out due to it's age, once opened it reveals a lavishly gold washed interior.

There are two fabulous Cairngorm stones, both coloured from the underside, the smaller one which creates the Scottish Thistle terminal is a vibrant pinky colour.

These are rarely found with their original snuff taking tools, this comes with all five on their original silver chains fixed to a Ram's horn mount.

Victorian in era, dating to around 1870 and remaining in superb condition creating a show-stopping piece. 11" x 7 1/2" x 6 3/4" tall.
