Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The solid English Oak base is mounted with an exquisitely executed of a Fox's head and from his mouth hangs a cast brass riding crop, the end is where one would hang there crop or perhaps your dog's leash or keys.
The fox retains his two original glass eyes, the piece remaining in excellent condition. The square base measures 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" , the entire piece measures 12 3/4" long.
