As part of our oriental collection we are pleased to offer this nice quality Japanese ivory okimono group of monkeys carved from one tusk section , the group are entwined and look to be having some fun , it appears that the youngster to the right may have done some wrong and hides his eyes while mum covers her mouth to prevent her laugh being heard by the father who has quite clearly had enough, great fun !!

The condition is lovely with stable old age hairlines and that lovely mellow yellow tone to the rear and underside , there are a couple of tiny toe nibbles to the underside and it needs a good clean, we have priced this great fun group accordingly , don't miss it !
