The well-figured top opens to reveal the leather chess, draughts and backgammon board inside with lid and displayed below the full set of red and white stained bone Staunton pattern chess pieces, each held in place with pegs, the pawns on the fold-down front.

The trays to the back hold numerous games including: dominoes; cribbage board; dice; markers; pegs; playing cards and a total of 32 red-and-white stained and pierced ivory draughts and backgammon pieces plus the carved ivory dice shaker. 13ins wide; 7.5ins high (33 x 19.5cms)
