Art Deco Oak and Walnut Banded Cased Canteen for 12 Places

Description

12 place canteen of stainless steel cutlery, engraved with monogram Lowe Chester, including carving knife and fork, soup ladle, table knives, forks and spoons, in fitted oak canteen table with lift up lid and single draw bellow raised up on curved legs united by under tier.

Lowe Chester

Lowe and Sons was founded in Chester by the first George Lowe in 1770 and has occupied its existing historic premises in Bridge Street Row for over two centuries since 1804.

Lowes has a long history of silver making and selling in Chester and there is a showcase in the Chester Grosvenor Museum entirely displaying silverware bearing the Lowes hallmark.
