Here we have a fine Victorian presentation tray given to Mrs Henry Palmer in 1896. This very large Silver plated tray is of the highest quality. The inscription reads " Presented to Mrs Henry Palmer, by the officials and workmen of East Howle Colliery as a mark of their esteem and respect January 1896. There is fine scroll and floral work to the border which is replicated on the tray, the cartouche bearing the inscription. There are integral feet to the base. A very fine tray and a piece of social history in fantastic untouched condition ready to use. The ample dimensions of this heavy tray are approx 30 inches wide and 19 deep.
