Japanese Ivory Okimono Street Seafood Seller Red Seal Signature

Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this Japanese ivory okimono of a seashell or seafood seller recently acquired from a private estate in Sussex , this fine quality ivory has again been carved from one piece with the exception of his wares , he is in nice original condition with only a couple of stable age cracks on his baskets and one on his fan, he has a super inset red seal signature and would compliment any serious okimono collection .
