Dated 1837. English Antique Needlework Sampler.

A very nice antique sampler by Jane Anne Clarke, age 10 in 1837.

This antique fine needlework sampler contains a lovely, poignant poem which is surrounded by birds, angels, plants and a decorative border.

In totally original condition, this antique sampler is still in its period simulated wood painted frame which has a gilt slip.

Overall, in very good order with the needlework being in great condition.

This English antique sampler is now at our large and interesting antiques showrooms in Lancashire.
