Mid 19thc Italian Grand Tour Life Size Bust of Julius Augustus Caesar in Carrara Marble

A mid 19thc well carved Italian Grand Tour life size bust of the young Julius Augustus Caesar in carrara marble, after the antique.

This highly decorative bust is formed from one piece of fine carrara marble and stands on a circular carrara marble base (socle).

At the back of the piece is a signature of Prof Leone.

This is a fine quality piece with no damage.

The bust is shown on a green column, but this is not included in the price but can be purchased separately.
