Regency Boulle Green and Red Tortoiseshell Paperweight

Description

We are pleased to offer this quite unusual desk accessory in the form of a heavy paperweight , made from a solid lump of ebonised hardwood strung with brass inlay and fitted green baize underside , the best part is of course on view , a pierced and fretted brass frame over green and red tortoiseshell and mother of pearl with pewter or silver inlaid heads , a great find !!

Condition is fine with nothing other than age related wear and tear .
