Terrestrial Globe

1900 - 1920
Description

A colourful and well preserved 12.5" English globe, made by Dr H Fischer and published by Wager & Debes of Leipzig. It has steamer routes, railways and telegraph cables. It shows Constantinople and Russia, (not Soviet Union 1922). It is on a turned beech stand which is finished in a mahogany colour.(Germany, c. 1920)

Current Condition

The globe is in excellent condition with no damage to the globe. the base has been repolished.
