A Good Regency Period Sarchophagus Wine Cellarette

Description

A lovely quality early 19th century Regency period CELLARETTE very much in the style of Gillows and in fine condition.

Veneered throughout in the finest quality "flame" mahogany, this features ebony mounts and details whilst the front has its original bold brass lion's head and ring handle. The canted corners are veneered with panels of flame timber within ebony mouldings whilst it stands upon carved "hairy paw" feet with concealed brass castors within.

The interior has been very nicely re-lined with lead, and it is complete with locking key.
