Beautiful American Western Style Saddle Probably a Parade Saddle on Stand

1900 - 1920
Description

I know nothing about saddles...especially Western type ones but this is such a lovely piece that I felt it would be an attraction and talking point in any room or hallway/study or purely as a decorative item.

I believe it to be a Parade saddle and as it has had very little wear this adds up to it being used for special occasions only.

The seat part measures aproximately 17ins X 17 ins. I am sure there must be a more professional way of measuring a saddle so if you need more information please ask.

The condition is very good and the patina is wonderful. The metal diamond shaped studs are a little worn in places but I feel that this saddle has been well looked after . The sheepskin linings are all in good condition.
