Description

French Antique Chestnut Grape Hod.

An unusual, circular shaped rather than the standard oval shaped, 19th century antique grape hod.

Made from slatted solid chestnut and iron bound.

This antique grape hod would have been used in a French vineyard for collecting bunches of grades before pressing.

It is in super condition, very solid and sturdy and it still has the pair of branch carrying handles.

Perfect for use as a log or coal basket/holder.

Just in today at our Clitheroe antiques showroom.
