Large Anglo Indian Carved Elephant Table

1900 - 1920
Description

A nice large example of an anglo indian circular centre table , i have had a few of these in the past but none quite so imposing and well carved as this one , the legs represent an elephants head and trunk including large ivory tusks , they screw into a well carved circular top and form a very decorative centre or side table .

The condition is superb and ready for immediate use however bear in mind that due to their design they are slightly top heavy and the legs rotate if twisted , dont get me wrong they are very robust and strong but also need careful considerate use.
