Circular Hall Stand by John Taylor & Son

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1900, unusual circular hall stand, stamped on the underneath John Taylor & Son Edinburgh. The stand is crowned with an urn shaped finial on a rotating top with several brass double hooks. Below are 3 turned and shaped uprights which are supported in the centre. The middle section of the hall stand has 3 brass rails which form to hold an umbrella or stick stand. The base is dished with a wonderful moulding to contain the drip tray, all standing on 3 carved cabriole legs.

Size approximately 2m high.

Most items include delivery anywhere in the UK mainland.
