19th Century Antique Leather Fire Bucket.

Description

A good, large example of a mid 19th century antique leather fire bucket.

In very good condition and being a lovely original colour.

Made with a leather strap carrying handle and edged in copper rivets on top edge and down the seam.

This antique leather fire bucket was only used next to a country house fireplace, it would have been filled with sand to put fires out.

We use one next to the fireplace but with kindling in.

A good piece of antique leather fireside accessory.

English. Circa: 1860.

In our Clitheroe showroom now.

Dimensions: 29.5cm high x 25.5cm wide.
