A very interesting Art Deco Jardinaire by the Dutch metalwork factory of KDM Royal Holland Daalderop. The Jardinaire is made in brass with applied stylish feet and a central band of scrolled motifs, it has then been given a blued/bronzed finish over the main body and a coppered finish to the central band. The piece is fully marked below for the KDM manufacturer which started in 1898 and made good quality decorative pieces, later concentrating on pewter wares. The piece is in good condition with one or two slight knocks. C.1920.
