A 19thc Artists Studio Easel

Description

A 19thc beech 'A' framed adjustable artists easel.

Suitable for an artist either sitting or standing the picture support adjusts vertically on a ratchet with a spung bolt catch below. The 'A' frame support at the rear has a ball and turned rail hinge with an iron and brass adjustable bracket. The easel is splattered with paint as would be expected but as shown in the photos ..not overly so.

77 cms wide at base 180 cms high picture support 75 wide by 9 cms deep. Back support extends out 63 cms at the base.
