Here we have a beautiful snooker/billiards scoreboard made by the famous Orme and sons Manchester. Please follow this link for information http://www.normanclare.co.uk/Orme.html Made from solid Oak and slate. The original gilded makers name is in the middle at the top with an impressed mark too. The top and bottom scorers turn with markers which slide.
The scoreboard is in remarkable condition. There is a crack through the slate which can be replaced but as it is original and does not affect the piece I am reluctant to do so. A wonderful piece of social history with great provenance in perfect working order and lovely retail condition ready to use.
The dimensions are approx 37 inches wide 23 high and 3 inches deep.
