Description

A most unusual find, this English pair of pocket sized Field glasses or binoculars are made from brass and have been meticulously professionally re-polished to gleam.

What makes this pair very special is the integrated compass with a hinged lid, with design name "The Lynx" and signed by the maker "Lawrence & Mayo" (of London).

They come complete with their original leather case (the belt loop broken), with a purple velvet lined interior.

Excellent condition, measuring 4 1/4" wide 2 7/8" extending to 3 3/4".
