This impressive screen has two superbly decorated panels. The screen has a magnificently carved outer border with a superbly carved bottom panel, the carvings depict various birds and animals, the inner Lacquered panels have an inlaid border and carved Ivory, bone and Mother of pearl decoration depicting a Large Eagle and many other birds
The screen is large and heavy the 2 sections screw together and very stable when standing on its wheels but far to heavy to lift, Some of the carved decoration is missing and this would make a worthwhile project for a keen restorer or collector
The screen is 76” high and when fully extended it is 6ft” wide
