A stylish Art Deco marble pedestal. The pedestal is made in solid marble of three colours. The square base is made of grey veined marble, the central circular column is of red veined marble and the top and bottom of the column has circular collars of alternating red and black marble. The square plinth top is also of red veined marble and is fitted on a socle that allows the plinth to rotate for the viewing of items placed on top. The pedestal has huge decorative appeal and would work either as a pedestal for an art work or lamp stand, the whole is in excellent condition. C.1920.
