Description

A quality rosewood, Victorian writing slope in lovely original condition and with brass corners, cartouche and escutcheon.

This slope, also known as a lapdesk, is beautifully polished and retains it's original leather insert and has a working lock and key.

It is fitted with two secret drawers with ivory handles and, unusually, retains it's original ink bottles which have brass screw tops.

A beautifull piece of Victorian craftsmanship.

Dimensions: 14" X 9" X 6"
