Description

A wonderful and seldom seen decorative pair of postage scales, a good large size and a quality construction.

The base is made from solid Mahogany with highly decorative fan inlay to each corner.

The polished brass scale has been meticulously polished to gleam and the letter pan engraved with the postal rates.

The scale comes with all the original weights all signed by the London scale maker " Quiney, 268 Leytonstone High Road ".

Dating to around 1910, a highly decorative set of scales in excellent condition, creating an impressive desk-top showpiece. The base measures 11" x 6" x 5 1/4" tall.
