A very handsome Victorian book stand, made from solid Walnut, beautifully carved to create a highly decorative Library accessory.

The hinged back allows the book rest to be angled or indeed folded completely flat for storage or travel.

The book photographed measures 7 1/2" tall x 5" x 1 3/4" thick, this will give you an idea if it would suit your particular needs if you have a special book in mind.

Dating to around 1860, it remains in excellent condition, measuring 10 3/4" x 8".
