Very Nice Vintage Lacquered and Hand Painted Set of 4 Mah Jong Tile Racks.

Description

Vintage set of 4 lacquered mah jong tile racks having a black ground, and gilt and coloured hand painted dragon decoration. The hinged top opens to reveal four storage compartments for keeping counting sticks if desired, while the flat surface of the closed top is useful to display pungs, chows, etc. during play.

These are more generous in size than modern alternatives.

Size-16.25 inches long by 2.75 inches wide by 1.25 inches high. The flat top surface where the decoration shows is 1.75 inches deep.

Weight-1.4 kilos before packing materials.

These racks will blend with any mah jong set.

A nice set of vintage mah jong racks in very good condition to complete your mah jong set, or to give as a gift.
