Fine Victorian mahogany writing desk dating to circa 1880

The rectangular top features an inset red leather writing surface with an attractive gilt-tooled border

The red leather top has just been refinished so is in perfect condition

Fitted with two useful frieze drawers, each with turned wooden handles and keyholes

Raised on elegant supports united by a gracefully curved stretcher

The carved paw feet terminate in castors, allowing the desk to be moved with ease

Finished on all sides, making it ideal for placement in the centre of a room
