Designed as a dual-purpose accessory for country sports like shooting, hunting, and racing, it functions as a sturdy walking cane that folds out into a portable seat.
The woven cane seat top features a rectangular section with a fine hand-woven cane mesh panel set into a metal frame. When the wooden loop handles at the top fold outwards horizontally, this section opens up to form a perch/seat for resting.
The body is crafted from lightweight bamboo/rattan with brass and nickel-plated steel fittings that lock the seat in place when closed for walking and hold it stable when opened for sitting.
The end features a sharp metal spike designed to pierce turf, paired with a wide metal ground disc (ferrule) to prevent the stick from sinking deep into mud or soft ground when in use.
