A Large Chinese Chippendale Style 4 Fold Coromandel Screen C1880-1900

Description

A very unusual Coramandel Lacquered 4 fold screen in the Chinese Chippendale style.

The top of each panel has Chippendale style glazing with a gorgeous fretwork frieze above.

The four panels are hand decorated with Chinoiserie scenes of pagodas, people & birds.

The screen is of large prportion 210 cm high by 250 wide, each panel measures 60 cm

Condition there are scratches and some old repairs but the screen is in good solid condition, no warping the glazed panels are all intact.
