Description

A beautiful antique carved rosewood and marble side table. This was made in France, it dates from around the 1840-50’s period.

It is of superb quality, the solid rosewood frame is beautifully carved with cabriole legs, scrolled feet and gorgeous floral carving around the top edges. There is a wonderful inset marble top, this is finished identically front and back, so can be used as a free standing item.

We have had the frame re-polished, the rosewood has a gorgeous colour tone and patina. The marble top has been newly cut for this, the condition is excellent all round for its age.
