A highly decorative Victorian walnut and marquetry circular breakfast table, centred by a richly figured burr walnut top with an ebonised floral marquetry medallion and an elaborate scrolling floral border.
The top is supported on a substantial turned and faceted pedestal, raised on four boldly shaped scrolling legs terminating in castors.
A striking and practical statement piece, combining strong Victorian proportions with finely detailed decorative work. The tilt-top mechanism also allows the table to be stored more conveniently when not in use.
