Description

A beautiful English antique oak gateleg dining table, dating from approximately the 1920s–1930s and displaying strong influences of the traditional Jacobean Revival style.

Crafted in oak, the table features a warm, richly aged finish with attractive natural grain and patina developed over many decades.

The most distinctive feature is the substantial base with traditional barley-twist turned legs, joined by solid stretchers. The gateleg construction allows both leaves to be raised independently, making this an exceptionally practical antique table.

The circular top when fully extended makes it suitable as a compact dining or breakfast table, while its flexible design also works particularly well in smaller homes, apartments, kitchens or occasional dining spaces.

Presented in very good antique condition, with a solid and functional construction. The timber shows minor marks, colour variation and signs of previous use consistent with its age, contributing to its authentic antique character.
