This set of seven eighteenth-century Neoclassical soup bowls consists of earthenware ceramic pieces finished with a cream glaze. The design incorporates a blue outer band and a brown laurel leaf rim motif, complemented by a hand-painted central armorial crest depicting an archer within a circular border. The visible glaze shows subtle age-related crazing and minor surface imperfections consistent with period use, alongside stacked positioning on a neutral surface. Each bowl measures 25 x 25 x 4 cm. These bowls suit practical dining use or placement upon a traditional sideboard top within an English country house interior, adding historical character to a formal table setting or display collection.

Creamware is a refined earthenware with a pale cream-coloured lead glaze, developed in Staffordshire during the mid-18th century and perfected by Josiah Wedgwood.

Armorial creamware was produced from fine white earthenware clay coated in translucent lead glaze, decorated with transfer-printed or hand-painted enamel borders and heraldic family crests.

Authentic pieces feature impressed uppercase or lowercase WEDGWOOD maker marks on the reverse, lightweight earthenware bodies, subtle greenish glaze pooling around rims, and crisp painted details.

Arranging these ceramic bowls inside a traditional glass-fronted cabinet, mounting them on wall hangers, or layering them on a sideboard creates an elegant dining room display.

Clean creamware by hand using warm water and mild liquid dish soap, avoiding prolonged immersion or abrasive pads to prevent damage to delicate glaze and enamels.
