An 18th Century Marquetry Wine Cooler.

Description

A lovely little 18th century table top wine cooler, beautifully made and decorated with floral marquetry. The lid has a canted domed top with turned finial, the lid opens to reveal a large space for your wine. Originally this would have had a copper or brass sleeve which sat inside to house the ice.

There are also two drawers, perfect for corkscrews and the tobacco & pipe. The sides retain the original carrying handles and the drawers also have their original hardware. Over all this is a very nice piece of table furniture and is in good condition.
