Rare Smith and Wesson Model 1 Revolver

Description

Smith and wesson model 1, issue 2, 7 shot rimfire revolver circa 1860. The first commercially successful revolver to use bullets instead of gunpowder and ball created by horace smith and daniel wesson in the second half of the 19th century. This is the second issue circa 1860 with rosewood grips and a brass body with crome plating, stamped to the top of the barrel smith and wesson springfield mass and to the base of the butt the serial number 82438. A rare gun to find in the UK. All in working order and revolving as it should
