Formed from golden brown satinwood with West Indian veneers, the piece has an oval top with a dark insert, a single frieze drawer fitted with two oval brass handles and a keyhole, and inlaid floral panels on the frieze. Four square tapered legs descend to small brass castors on dark feet. The timber exhibits a natural grain pattern and warm golden tones.
