A large and decorative saltglaze stoneware barrel. The barrel was made as a container but makes the perfect walking stick and umbrella stand. It is beautifully modelled as a realistic coopered barrel with straps. The piece is in excellent condition and was probably made in Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire.
