A 19th Century Imari Fish Bowl.With a flat rim decorated with flower heads, against a blue ground, The underside of the rim, in a chamfer, and likewise decorated with flower heads, meeting the rounded bowl, with flower filled lappets over a ground of flowing flowers. The main body decorated with jardinieres, standing on a garden walkway. The jardinieres filled with extravagant displays of flowers, amongst which birds perch. The interior of the bowl decorated with exotic fish, that swim around sea weeds.
