FAQs

Traditional Chinese tables were crafted for functional use in scholars studios, ancestral halls, and domestic living spaces, often featuring minimalist or intricately carved structural elements reflecting regional craftsmanship.

These pieces are typically constructed using native hardwoods such as elm, rosewood, or camphor, frequently employing traditional mortise and tenon joinery without the use of metal nails.

Authenticity is assessed by examining the aged patina of the wood, hand-carved detailing, traditional joinery methods, and signs of natural wear consistent with historical use.

This piece works well as a grounding focal point in neutral spaces, pairing effectively with modern minimal furnishings or serving as an eclectic contrast in transitional room designs.

Preserve the wood by keeping the item away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity, dusting regularly with a dry cloth, and applying natural wax sparingly when needed.
