Lord nelsons first flagship the foudroyant was launched in 1797 and served the navy in many ways until it was sold and began a life sailing around the UK as a tourist attraction, the ship was wrecked in a storm and grounded on blackpool beach in 1897 the ship was broken up and sold a auction with many parts made in to furniture and collectors items and sold to the public. A quick search on the internet will give the full story. The ribs of the wreck can still be seen off north pier at low tide . This walking stick and coin come with display stand shown.
