Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The quality is outstanding, this has a lovely and versatile design.
It is a good height and shape to put a TV on, the lower rattan tier is a very useful feature.
It stands on fluted legs, the top edge is beautifully cross banded in Santos rosewood, which does not require a CITES or article 10.
We have had this stripped and re-polished to a high standard, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some minor wear, a few small bumps and marks remaining beneath the polish here and there, commensurate for age.
